moving

what a miserable experience.  i’ve “moved” loads of times before because of college but nothing like this because when i was in college i didn’t have much of my own furniture.  but ugh.  i’ve only lived here for a year and most of the big stuff belongs to my brother (who is moving to an apartment in wyman park and me to an apartment with my friend from high school in mt vernon) so i kind of assumed i didn’t have that much ~stuff, but now that i’m actually packing, it’s pretty overwhelming.  i even have a lovely and cheerful and able bodied partner to help me and i’m still overwhelmed.  how do people DO this???

on another note, i got rudely awoken by someone showing this house in hampden to prospective renters.  there has to be some legal obligation that these people obtain my permission before they enter my home, right?  i’m still the legal tenant for one more week.  i was naked for god’s sake.  i came downstairs and really let them have it, though.  NO1WAKESMEUPDURINGTHESUMMER
